Lovely Professional University was established under the Punjab State Private University Act, commencing operations with 600 students across 12 programmes.
The university expanded to offer 50+ programmes and crossed 10,000 student enrollment. Infrastructure development accelerated with new academic blocks.
LPU received its first NAAC accreditation with 'A' grade, recognizing quality in teaching, research, and infrastructure.

Admissions for the 2024 academic session are now open across all programmes. LPU follows a transparent, merit-based admission process with multiple entry pathways.
Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) for undergraduate programmes. For postgraduate programmes, a relevant bachelor's degree with minimum 55% aggregate. International students must have equivalent qualifications.
